RELATIONSHIPS ARE HARD
THERAPY CAN HELP

Even the strongest relationships hit rough patches. Communication gets tangled, trust feels shaky, or life throws you curveballs that leave you feeling more disconnected than close. Couples therapy isn’t about deciding who’s right or wrong — it’s about creating a safe, supportive space where both of you can slow down, be heard, and begin to reconnect.

I work with couples of all backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures, offering a space that’s inclusive, affirming, and real. Whether you’re working through conflict, navigating a big transition, or simply wanting to strengthen your bond, this is a place to show up together, honestly and fully.

WHAT WE'LL WORK ON TOGETHER

Every couple comes in with their own history, dynamics, and hopes. There’s no single formula, but here are some of the themes we might explore in our work together:

  • Strengthening Communication — learning how to listen, share, and be understood without spiraling into the same old arguments.

  • Rebuilding Trust — whether from a betrayal, rupture, or a slow drift apart, we’ll work on restoring safety and closeness.

  • Navigating Life Transitions — parenthood, illness, loss, career shifts, or other big changes can shake even the strongest bonds.

  • Exploring Intimacy & Identity — making space for conversations about sexuality, gender, and desire in ways that feel safe and affirming.

  • Breaking Cycles — identifying those stuck patterns that play on repeat and finding new ways forward.

  • Deepening Connection — nurturing the parts of your relationship that already feel strong, while tending to the places that need more care.

MY APPROACH TO COUPLES THERAPY

Couples therapy with me isn’t about sitting back and quietly watching the two of you argue. I’m engaged and present in the process, helping you step out of old cycles and move toward something different. I see the relationship as my client — which means I don’t take sides or crown one partner “right.” Instead, I hold space for both of you, honoring your voices and your needs while keeping the health of the relationship at the center.

Honesty and transparency are woven into everything I do. If we’re circling the same drain or hitting a wall, I’ll name it so we can shift. At the same time, I bring a lot of compassion into the room — with curiosity, affirmation, and yes, sometimes humor. Healing doesn’t have to feel stiff or clinical to be meaningful.

I welcome couples of all identities, genders, sexual orientations, and relationship structures. Whether you’re LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, disabled, or navigating a nontraditional partnership, this is a space where you’ll be met with respect and affirmation. And because couples work can get heated, I hold firm boundaries to keep the process safe, respectful, and productive.

Every couple is different, so I don’t follow a rigid formula. Our work will be collaborative, flexible, and responsive to your unique dynamic and goals. My role is to guide, challenge, and support you while helping you reconnect in a way that feels real and sustainable.

SESSION STRUCTURE & OPTIONS

Couples sessions are offered virtually through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform, allowing you to meet from wherever you feel most comfortable. Standard sessions are 60 minutes and are most common for ongoing work. For couples who are processing deeper trauma, moving through emotionally charged material, or wanting more time for skills-based work, 90-minute extended sessions are also available.

Before beginning, each partner will have their own secure client portal where intake paperwork and informed consent forms are completed individually. This ensures that both voices are heard from the very start and that each person has equal access to the therapeutic process.

My intention is always to provide a safe, structured container where both partners can engage openly and fully. Sometimes that means sessions feel challenging or even uncomfortable — and that’s okay. With clear boundaries and compassionate guidance, the work can remain productive and supportive even in difficult moments.

ACCESSIBILITY & RATES

Couples therapy is an investment in your relationship, and I strive to make it as accessible as possible while maintaining sustainability in my practice. A standard 60-minute couples session is $180 per couple, while extended 90-minute sessions are available for $280 when more space is needed for deeper work.

I recognize that finances can be a barrier, which is why I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots each month. Additional reduced-rate options are prioritized for LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, disabled couples, graduate students, and others who may be navigating systemic barriers to care. My goal is to remove as much of the gatekeeping as possible so that meaningful therapy remains within reach.

Payment is due on the day of service and is processed automatically through AutoPay in my secure EHR system. This keeps the focus on the therapeutic process rather than financial logistics and ensures a smooth, reliable structure for both of us.
